  • Welcome Elizabeth Pridgen, our new Artistic Director! After an extensive, nation-wide search, we are thrilled to welcome Elizabeth as the ACP’s new Artistic Director. Come celebrate with us as we present our 39th season of chamber music performances. Elizabeth will be featured in our opening concert at the Shakespeare Tavern in the string quintet arrangement of Chopin’s Piano Concerto No. 2 in F minor. An exciting cast of ACP favorites and new faces will join her in this opening extravaganza.
  • ACP Commissions new work by acclaimed American composer Adam Schoenberg: The ACP is thrilled to present the world premiere performance of a new chamber work by Adam Schoenberg at the Ahavith Achim Synagogue on November 9th. A member of the Atlanta School of Composers, Schoenberg’s works have been performed by the Atlanta Symphony and other major orchestras and chamber ensembles around the country.
  • ACP’s Founding Artistic Managing Director Paula Peace named Artistic Director Emeritus: At the conclusion of her 38th and final season as Artistic Managing Director of the ACP, the board of directors unanimously voted to honor Paula with the new title of Artistic Director Emeritus in recognition of her outstanding leadership and many years of dedication and artistic excellence. Congratulations, Paula!
  • The ATLANTA CHAMBER PLAYERS is the 2014 winner of The American Prize in Chamber Music Performance.ACP was selected from applications reviewed this summer from all across the United States. The American Prize is a series of new, non-profit, competitions unique in scope and structure, designed to recognize and reward the best performing artists, ensembles and composers in the United States based on submitted recordings.
